Sobre el artista

Davis Lisboa (São Paulo, Brasil, 1965) comenzó a trabajar en 1982 como storyboarder (guionista gráfico) o ilustrador publicitario en varias agencias de publicidad en São Paulo. En 1987 se mudó a Barcelona, ​​donde trabajó como ilustrador gráfico en un estudio de diseño. En 1989 abrió su propio estudio de pintura artística y ilustración publicitaria y en 2005 comenzó a realizar exposiciones en galerías de arte, centros culturales y museos.

Davis Lisboa ha estudiado Comunicación Visual en la ETE Carlos de Campos (São Paulo), Pintura en el Centre d'Art i Disseny Escola Massana (Barcelona) y es licenciado en Bellas Artes por la Universitat de Barcelona. En 2009, creó el Davis Museum | The Davis Lisboa Mini-Museum of Contemporary Art in Barcelona, ​​una entidad cultural reconocida por la Generalitat de Catalunya, ahora ampliando su actividad hacia la gestión cultural.

About the artist

Davis Lisboa (São Paulo, Brazil, 1965) has started working in 1982 as a storyboarder, or advertising illustrator, making comprehensive layout illustrations in several ad agencies in São Paulo.
